Afternoon shave after a nice hike. The negroni hit the spot. Maybe a whisky in future. Off now to see Casablanca on the big screen.

How's that YAQI Slant?

I really like it.

I felt like a real novice when I first started using it because I'd cut myself up a bit and started to get a bit gun shy. That was kind of ridiculous since I Iove using straight razors. Once I started to treat it with the respect I do with a straight, I really enjoyed using it.

It's definitely not an every day razor but it's my go to when I haven't shaved for more than a couple of days.

Some of the reviews I've read say it's quite aggressive, even for a slant.
