Thanks again for PIFing this splash @Mark1966
I know there is lavender in the heart notes of that splash - so I think this is going to be the soap to pair it with. I think it worked really well - wonderful shave.

His mum was qualified enough to be a queen at the age of 273, so her son is just a sprout. But I'm a little miffed with Charlie. He's going to be hijacking my 60th birthday just to get a silly hat put on his head. He was brought up to have more consideration. 😐

A Legacy Soap Shave

SOTD-20230402-setup.png

Shave Result: With triple-mill soaps I prefer to slice or scrape a small portion (about 0.65gm or 1/8th teaspoon) of soap from the puck and press that into the bottom of my lathering bowl and wet it with my finger. The soap produced a lovely medium density lather. The Lather provided excellent primary slickness and residual slickness was good. To me the scent is a citrus aroma with warm scented background, a wonderful light to medium scent. Another awesome shave with the Leaf & Twig (for clean ups) combo.

The Gear:

  • Pre Shave: Suavecito Brushless Shaving Cream
  • Brush: Omega 10049 Big Boar 26/62 knot
  • Soap: D.R. Harris - Windsor Triple Mill Soap Puck
  • Bowl: Yaqi “Duke” Ceramic
  • Razor: Leaf and Twig by Leaf Shaving
  • Blade: Sunny Supreme Stainless (4)
  • Splash: TN Dickinsons Witch Hazel with Menthol & T.Tree oil
  • Balm: Lucky Tiger Vanishing Cream
  • After Shave: 4711 AS
  • Moisturiser: Nivea Men Creme (Face-Body-Hands)

Glad you like the Windsor, it's still one of my top favourites (I'm on to my third puck.) One of the last British manufacturers of milled soaps that hasn't reformulated their product into well-deserved oblivion. (y)
