I'd try a Synth, but the Plisson is $100. Not that much of a punter.
There's cheap Pur Tech synthetics available for $15 delivered.

I think is called P160 (whatever that may mean) acquired I believe from one of the southern brethren - I believe I acquired something called P120 from @Nick the Knife at the same time.
Replaced the Indian Wilk with a shiny new slick Schick and all was well. I have no idea whatsoever what brush I used except it had a solid part on one end and bristles on the other.

All went well.
Quicker than re-writing - as above

Thanks borked...... I just ordered a classic 1 in synth. Sigh. After looking at muhles for weeks it took be 20 seconds to like the look of the classic in synth. Hope it's good!!!!

How long have you been with us NowNicked? 3 weeks? 4 weeks?
And how many shaving products have you bought?
You're fitting in very well...[emoji14]

I know filo I know! I go shirtless and shoeless because of this forum. Actually the only big purchases are the brush and the soap order... The brush should last 3 years and the soap nearly as long. I'm saving so much money wet shaving. Those silly cart users do have shirts and shoes though [emoji12]

I console myself with the long list of things I'd like to get but haven't.

Maybe @Mark1966 might donate his old shirts and shoes to you. He seems to have picked up and few new shirts recently. And I'll guessing he hasn't yet posted his new shoes from the UK... [emoji11]

I like to enable and only noticed them today actually, so being gifted a chance to mention them, I just had to :)
Please do report back when you get it with your experience.

An idea, maybe if we ask @Mark Watterson nicely, he could do a special run of them for this forum ?

I think he's waiting for a new month to announce them.

You must understand that our @Mark1966 collects things @filobiblic if you read some old posts you will see he collected model tanks (and rumour has it pencils at primary school) , He does not give away new things he retires them to their relevant collection area. :)

And what might that be?
Smog fanbois on there reckon that Smog brushes need a break-in period of 20-30 shaves. Previous to that they hog lather and are scratchy, but once broken-in are heavenly. Same guys normally concede Omegas are softer and have better flow-through out of the box but don't mature like a Semogue. So let's see….

Who is mark watterson Borked?

I like the look of the simo better. The muhle travel brush is only made in the metal versions (shiny chrome one most readily available here and looks a bit.. Dunno the word - help me out here)

You really are a slacker @gthomas04 .

Shave no 11 (or is it 12) with the P74. Still cuts Ok but starting to show it's age. Not as smooth as the half a dozen or so. And I'm starting to suffer from boredom.
BS re-knot
Tabac cream

On topic please Gentlemen!

SOTD - remember :)

Brush: Frank Shaving ST
Soap/Cream: Haslinger Honey
Razor: Standard Razor (Black)
Blade: Personna [3]
After-shave: RR aftershave wax

Creamy lather from the Haslinger. And I just LOVE the scent!

Sounds a good shave mate. So the Haslinger and Standard keepers?

We are all going to die soon,so for fuck sake stop worrying about money.

Just do whatever the fuck you are into and enjoy it or not.

Money has become some sort of thing that people hang on to.

People kill each other for money and lead lives that have money at the heart.

Just do stuff and enjoy your life as it has nothing to do with money unless you yourself make it so

Anyway.............

Slim with some old blade and some Speik.
A bit of Alum and some Speik AS and balm and some other things that were good..
