Another nice shave. Had a better chance to properly lather this soap and it is perfectly acceptable. Bad at nothing, quite good at everything (strength, cushion, glide, slickness, post shave) yet excels at nothing either. Scent is inoffensive but also unremarkable. Perfectly adequate soap in my book but not something I will be stocking up on either.
 
Update from yesterday’s battle:
Throughout the day and up until 6pm I could not tell any difference as to which side was smoother. At about 9pm I could very subtly tell a difference. The smoother side was the right hand side. Another tick for the WR2. But not by enough that it would concern anybody!

Two absolutely fantastic razors!

Very nice shave with loads of comfort. The tub has gotten harder to load since it’s a ring around the bottom and also up the sides of the tub. I think tonight I’m transferring the remainder to a bowl.
 
Pre-shave: Hot Shower

Some days it jsut has to the "the General" ...

Son's graduation ceremony this morning and formal tonight, an era is passing (he shaved with his vintage butterscotch Simpson and vintage 1966 (L1) Slim Aristocrat today BTW.

My BBS was brought to me today by:

Pre: Shower
Soap: Mondial Tabacco Verde
Razor: Rockwell 6S plate #3
Blade: GPS (notes on blade) Didn't like this blade at all yesterday used with a Yaqi in beast mode but today was pure bliss and smooth comfort in the rockwell on a #3 plate. 3 way shave - Beaut BBS, guess different blades with different heads really can make a big difference to how one feels about the final outcome. Noice!

Post: Just a splash of Tea Tree & Witch Hazel

My second shave with this Christmas cookie scented soap, got a better lather this time so I can comment a bit more about it. I get lemon, cherry and bit of spices , it’s quite sweet, if you don’t like sweet scents then probably stay clear. I love it and will be enjoying early morning shaves and coffee with this one.

Had more time and the lather had a nice thickness today after adding too much water = foam early on and having to beat it into submission. I'm having to use a bowl to load this sample and the experience is new to me. Just a reminder of why I prefer face lathering... lovely BBS though with a new blade in this razor - a combination I keep enjoying.

Must admit I enjoyed the heft of the WR2,WRH2 combo. Paired with an Aussie artisan soap and its all good.
