Does anybody here do it? Think it's supposed to prevent rusting or corrosion. Seems to be flavour of the month at the other forums but in my few years of DE shaving I have not had any issues.
It's a complete wank, equivalent to turning the blades over to get more life from them.
There's really no reason to do it other than cleaning. Any amount of blade corrosion that might occur is surely so miniscule as to be insignificant.
Yes, on the rare chance that I would keep a blade for more than 1 shave. I do take it out of the razor, rinse, dry, palm strop it, and keep it on a magnet till the next time
I just rinse, shake and blow on it. The blowing bit came from my Father so I just do it,.................it maybe gets the last drops of water off I suppose.
PS. I even did in on cart blades too.

I can't seem to escape!
