Maybe the whole you have to like other posts and wait till you get posting privilege WITHOUT KNOWING what is required from you throws people off?

To be fair, it is included in the welcome email apparently.
So if a legitimate email is used, alongside reading it, there would be no confusion.
Perhaps a suggestion that a stronger mention of this in the signup process would be prudent?

OK, I didn't know that - and to be honest every time I get a welcome Email from a site I just signed up, I delete it straight away :oops::oops:

I guess it's because 99.99% of the time it is some generic bla bla nobody really cares about...

Think it's fair to say this site is not your generic typical example :)
Kudos for eating humble pie btw :)

To be fair, I didn't read it. However, it was just common sense (manners) to me to like posts where people were welcoming me :)
That be true indeed :)

Howdy @Jaiden Hartley.
Fellas I had the pleasure of welcoming Jaiden into wet shaving with one of our starter kits... he's now a full-blown wet shaving enthusiast!
Great to see you join the P&C community!
Oh, poor guy stands no chance if your soap is his baseline :D

Weird is a relative thing (no, not THAT sort of relative, we are not all Tasmanians here)

What sort of kit do you have Jaidan and what stuff if your favourite?
I'm using a parer 24C, whipped dog 24mm silvertip, both from Shaver heaven. I use his soaps almost exclusively.
I gotta say, it's a lot more expensive than I was told ... :')

I'm looking foward to trying the biggest brush I can.I've used a 24mm brush, but I wanna see how big they can get..

Depends how much you want to spend and what you mean by biggest (e.g. total height inc handle, knot loft, bristle density, knot width etc) :) If you're just looking to try a huge size out, you could go a boar like the Omega 48, or a Whipped Dog 30mm knot synthetic. Cheap, reasonable quality and massive brushes.

I would recommend a Stirling Kong for a Synth, a Vie-Long Epsilon White Horse and an Omega Proraso/48/49 in the boar department

Once you had your entrée it gets really interesting :D :D :D

Chubby 2 or 3, Vie-Long Epsilon 2 Band, Thater 49125/5, custom Shavemac with a 30mm knot and don't forget the old classic: Plisson Size 20! Or do you want to get on a waiting list for a Paladin Falstaff? Maybe you have a magic touch and can reach Lee Sabini for a 3XL? So many nice large brushes to try....
