Brush: Omega 24mm
Razor: Merkur 37C
Blade: Gillette Nacet (9)
Soap: RR xXx
Post: Thayer Aloe & Lemon + APR balm

Decided to stick with the 37C as the Nacet has smoothed out and I enjoy the comfortable shaves I've been getting with this setup. It's been a while using this balm but boy its a real winner! Thick and moisturising with a pleasant scent :) Happy shaves!!!

Pre-shave: Hot shower
Brush: Tony Forysth P&C LE Platypus shaving brush
Soap/Cream: The one, the only, ARKO! shaving soap
Razor: Vintage NEW head (replated) on TSW Bren handle
Blade: Polsilver 'Brown' (6)
Post-shave: Mysrol Metilsol aftershave splash
Fragrance: N/A

Early morning shave before flight - depart 6:20 am, arrive home 6:20pm - a balanced day!

It’s posts like this that make me reconfirm that it is NOT a weekday day, and find myself having slept in!
Appreciate the raised heart rate anyway...

Just want to make sure you know you are alive!

Yes, it is Saturday folks

Pre: Hot shower
Soap: Phoenix the kiss
Brush: Simpson Chubby1
Razor: Karve 3”, C-plate
Blade: Astra green
AS: Phoenix the kiss

Went for a day trip to the mountains yesterday and used the opportunity to stop off at the stray whisker.

The scent is sweet with a strong musk. Pleasant, but initially quite strong. It’s been about an hour and the scent has settled and is quite nice.

Brush: Tony Forsyth Custom Imperial Red....

Great scent for beautiful Summer morning....

Pre-shave - Shower and Occam's pre-shave soap.
Brush - Mühle K35-252 Synthetic.
Soap - ARKO !
Razor - Rockwell 6C, plate 4.
Blade - Feather. (5)
Post-shave - Alum block and Geo F. Trumper, Sandalwood Skin food.
Fragrance - TOBS Sandalwood Aftershave Splash.

Two passes for a DFS!

16 days down, 12 days to go with the Arko.

Counting down to the end of the challenge!

KarveD w/Polsilver
Yaqi silvertip 24mm
Shaver Heaven - Choc Delight
Gaia ASB

It's becoming redundant for me to write "effortless BBS" every time I use the Karve because this is exactly what happens on a daily basis with this razor and blade combo.

The Yaqi silvertip is awesome and was luxurious with the choc delight soap.
SH is great soap...this one has no added skin food ingredients and yet it still takes care of my skin!

This razor and blade combo is what I'll be trying next for my GC.
The Polsilver was too sharp, the voshkod was too dull. Let's see if I can get it just right.

Pre-Shave: Kiss my Face Olive Oil Soap, cold water
Razor: Rex Ambassador (3/2)
Blade: Ladas (1)
Brush: Tony Forsyth Platypus Prototype Bob Quinn Manchurian
Lather: Declaration Cuir et Epices from 2019 Paste & Cut Meet-Up Sample Box
Post-Shave: Alum, Thayers Original Alcohol Free Witch Hazel, South Australian Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

I am currently fortunate enough to be playing around with the B&R adjustable vs the Rex. I enjoy them both very much especially once I found the right settings and it is very hard for me to decide for one or the other...

Maybe at the more aggressive setting (3 on the Rex, 2.5 on the B&R - first pass) the Rex is slightly smoother, but on the milder settings (2 on the Rex, 1 on the B&R - subsequent passes) the B&R has the advantage - in any case the end result is pretty similar and my face feels equally happy.

Also very pleased to get a second shave out of the Declaration soap sample generously donated by the 2019 Paste & Cut Meet-Up Sample box. The lather was again wonderful and overall it was a perfect Saturday shave.

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend (y)

Now throw in a Rocnel Sailor to really confuse the issue.

Does it accept Ladas or Voskhod blades? I basically only use those 2 blades and have a rule, that a razor that doesn't work with either of those, does not work for me :D :D :D

If you really wanted to become Thor holding the mightiest lighting hammer like a darn KING!!, the B&R adjustable looks like a Thor hammer would become your Holy Thor Grail in your den, I would sell the Rex over the mightiest hammer because it’s looks powerful in your den.
